Petit Planet Luca Arbor Guide: Level Costs and Rewards

The Luca Arbor is a massive tree that drives your planet’s growth in Petit Planet. Feeding it Luca raises its level and unlocks more of your world, from farming and new terrain to extra room for Neighbors. Its branches also hold Luca Fruits, which change parts of your planet’s appearance.
What is Luca, and how do you level the Luca Arbor?
Luca is stored in star-topped jars and contains your planet’s vitality. You’ll use it to “water” the Luca Arbor. When you provide enough Luca, the Arbor advances to the next level. Each new level rewards you with a special currency known as Lucasprouts.

Which Luca Arbor upgrades should you watch for?
Farming opens at level 2, followed by more farm plots as the Arbor grows. When you get to level 9, you’ll unlock various weather effects, and the mountain area opens at level 13. Those changes are useful milestones when planning your collection: a new part of the planet gives you somewhere else to explore, while weather can affect which creatures are available. If you are making room for more company, you’ll be most excited for levels 17, 24 and 28. Each adds one to your Neighbor capacity. You can use the Neighbors page to compare galaxies and Expert skills while deciding who you would like to get to know.
What do Luca Fruit slots do?
Use Luca Fruits to decorate your planet by placing them on the Luca Arbor’s branches. You’ll get more slots as you level the Arbor, making room for exciting effects like new looks for grasslands or beaches. Your starting galaxy can affect some of the rewards. For example, Hexia receives Starlined Meadows first, while Taffeh receives Starbloom Meadows.
What are the Lucasprout rewards for?

Lucasprout can be exchanged for Sea Whistles or Curio Sea Whistles used in Starsea Calls. You can also earn it through Wandering Stars on Starsea Voyages and daily Season of Snowfall challenges. You’ll also earn 770 Lucasprouts as you level your Luca Arbor to max.
Higher levels bring larger Lucasprout rewards, and you’ll eventually gain the special Planet Homesteader title. Leveling the Luca Arbor is an integral part of Petit Planet that you’ll do naturally as you play.
