Nova City is the heart of Ananta: an urban open world where everyday life collides with paranormal trouble. As an agent of the Anti-Chaos Directorate, you investigate disturbances, meet new companions and fight threats across the city.

What is Ananta?

Developed by Naked Rain and NetEase Games, Ananta is a free-to-play, anime-inspired open-world RPG. First announced as Project Mugen, it received the Ananta name in December 2024.

What does the A.C.D. do?

The A.C.D. is the Anti-Chaos Directorate, the agency your character works for. Its investigations connect Nova City’s supernatural disturbances with the action and exploration at the center of the game.

Combat makes use of the surroundings, while the city offers activities and social encounters between assignments. That mix gives Nova City a role beyond the backdrop to a fight: it is also a place to explore and meet characters.
