Petit Planet Starsea Voyage Guide: Unlock Zones and Explore Islets

Set sail with Elsasani, open Hexia and Taffeh’s Starsea zones, and learn when to spend a Star Anchor on an Islet.

Starsea Voyages take you off your home planet and out to little islands called Islets. Take up to two Neighbors along to gather materials, catch creatures you won’t find at home and solve puzzles. Some stops introduce a Neighbor you can get to know. Your home galaxy determines where you start, and a Star Anchor lets you land.

This guide follows the Final Beta voyage system, where you sail in a boat and use the Starsea Map to track the Islets you’ve explored. Petit Planet’s Final Beta feature overview

How to unlock Starsea Voyages

Follow the early Memo Tasks until the story opens Starsea Voyages. Then speak to Elsasani at your planet’s Station to set out. Pick up to two Neighbors before you leave. If you’re going out for ore, take a mining specialist. If you plan to spend your anchors on fishing Islets, bring a Neighbor who’s good at fishing. Compare Neighbor skills

You can sail and look around before deciding where to land. The map marks unexplored Islets with a question mark. Once you explore one, the map records its name and type so you can find it again when you need the same resources.

How to unlock Hexia and Taffeh Starsea zones

Your first voyage starts in Hexia Zone H83 if your home planet is in Hexia, or Taffeh Zone T31 if you chose Taffeh. Each zone has its own set of Islets, so visiting the other zone gives you more places to look for creatures and materials.

To open the other starting zone, visit a Starmigo whose home planet is in that galaxy and speak to Elsasani at their Station. Once both zones are available, use the setup point during a voyage to transfer between them. Seasonal zones come through their own events. In the Final Beta, completing Melody of the Conch opened the Season of Snowfall storyline, which introduced a separate snowy voyage area.

How to get and use Star Anchors

Buy Star Anchors from Loomix Mart, which stocked up to three per day in the Final Beta. You can head out without an anchor, but every Islet landing uses one. Use the shop shortcut from the voyage screen if you run out while sailing.

Spend an anchor on a new Islet when you want to discover a location, or return to one you’ve already mapped when you need a specific catch. If a Neighbor encounter appears and you want to meet them, make that your next stop. Encounter Islets disappear after you greet the Neighbor and leave, so they work differently from ordinary resource Islets.

What to look for on an Islet

Start with whatever brought you there. Fish the water, check the shoreline or gather the local materials. Then look for Wandering Stars and a Travel Surprise Box before leaving. You can also find Islets with puzzles, so leave yourself a little time to explore beyond the landing spot.

If you’re filling gaps in your collection, filter for Islets in Gopode’s creature catalogue before you spend an anchor. Once you know which fish, insects or shore-dwellers you’re after, it’s easier to choose which stops to revisit. Browse Islet creatures
